Cheesy Garlic Bread Pizza
Pizza Pizza Pizza.
We all love it.
We all have seen one million recipe ideas, but this 5 Ingredient Cheesy Garlic Bread Pizza is my creation so it’s totally new and awesome.
Mmmmkay? 😉
All you need is a loaf of French or Italian bread. You know, the $1 varieties at your local grocer that they bake fresh each day and it’s basically a sin if you don’t purchase one or two at that price?
Okay, sin might have taken it a little too far, but you get the gist.
Cut the loaf in half lengthwise and smoosh those halves down until they are as flat as you can get them.
Then spread softened butter on each half and sprinkle with garlic salt.
Like easy peasy so far, right?
Next, cover the bread with a little cheese and place in a preheated oven for a few minutes to melt the cheese.
Remove this garlic bread goodness from the oven and spread a generous layer of pizza sauce and, of course, more shredded mozzarella.
There is NEVER too much cheese on pizza. NEVER.
Do you like toppings? Me too! I’m a toppings girl so the more the better!
The neat thing about these pizzas is the fact that you are starting out with 2 pizzas and that means one for you and one for a family member or friend to create whatever flavor combos you wish.
With our family, the kids generally like pepperoni or sausage. Ryan and I like all the toppings like pepperoni, sausage, onion, bell peppers, banana peppers, etc.
All. The. Things.
Except mushrooms, Ryan sweetie doesn’t like mushrooms so we are sans mushrooms on our Cheesy Garlic Bread Pizzas.
After you have the bread aka crust filled with sauce, cheese, and toppings pop it back in the oven for several more minutes until the cheese is melted.
