Alternative Method - If you don’t have a large bowl with a lid use gallon bags to add the powdered sugar to the coated cereal mixture. In two gallon-sized Ziploc bags, add 1 ½ cups powdered sugar to each bag. Set aside. Pour 1/2 the coated cereal mixture into the two gallon-sized bags. Seal the bags and shake until the powdered sugar coats all the cereal mixture. Open each bag and lay the bags on their sides to allow the mixture to cool and dry out a bit before adding the remaining candies (¼ cup M&Ms and ¼ cup jelly beans). Ingredient Tips - Feel free to use substitute other types of candies in this recipe.Prep Tips - Add more powdered sugar if the cereal isn't coated enough. Some brands of peanut butter contain more oil absorbing the powdered sugar more.
