In a large stovetop pan (12 inch sauté pan), brown the turkey sausage over medium-high heat. As the sausage is browning, stir in the red pepper flakes, ground black pepper and onion powder.
16 ounces ground turkey sausage, 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes, 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper, 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
Once the meat is browned, stir in the coleslaw mix, red pepper slices, whites of the onion, and minced garlic. Sauté for 2-3 minutes.
16 ounce bagged coleslaw mix, 1 red pepper, julienned, 4 green onions, thinly sliced, 2 teaspoons minced garlic
Stir in the coconut aminos and ground ginger powder. Sauté another 2 minutes.
1/4 cup coconut aminos, 1/2-1 teaspoon ground ginger
Top with the greens of onions and serve warm.4

Ingredient Tips - Depending on the brand of ingredients, the spice and flavor level of this egg roll bowl will vary. Coconut aminos and 1/2 teaspoon ginger powder suite our tastebuds, but some may need more salt and more of a punch of flavor from low sodium soy sauce and 1 teaspoon ground ginger. The brand of turkey sausage makes a difference too as they are all seasoned differently.
