Instructions
In a small soup pot over medium heat, add in the milk and unsweetened cocoa powder. Whisk together and heat until the mixture is hot and steam releases from the liquid. There is no need to simmer or bring to a boil.
1 cup milk of choice, 2 Tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
Whisk in 2 ½ Tablespoons pumpkin spice syrup. Carefully taste and add more syrup, if desired.
2 ½ -3 Tablespoons pumpkin spice syrup
Pour the hot cocoa into a mug and garnish with marshmallows, whipped cream and/or pumpkin pie spice. Enjoy immediately!

Ingredient Tips - Dark cocoa powder or cacao powder may be used. Whole milk will result in the creamiest hot chocolate but any milk will work in this recipe.Calories calculated using unsweetened almond milk and no toppings.
