Flavor Variations

Feel free to mix and match ingredients to satisfy all your dietary needs and tastebuds. If you’re looking for inspiration, some of our favorite ways to switch it up include:

  • Swapping the protein powder with a different flavor like strawberry!
  • Using a flavored yogurt
  • Incorporating mix-ins like shredded coconut flakes, chopped nuts, and fresh fruit
  • Swapping the limes with oranges or lemons
  • Omit the protein powder, and add extra fresh lime juice along with salt and pepper to make this a savory lime yogurt sauce.

Notes

We prefer whey protein powder in this recipe because it is easier to dip the fruit into. However, plant based (vegan) protein powder will work but the dip will be thicker.
