What Are Fruit Fries?

Exactly what they sound like! Fruit fries are simply strips of fruit that are cut to resemble crinkle-cut fries.

The trend went viral on social media with watermelon fries, but we like to use it for a variety of fruit! All you have to do is slice, chop, and eat. Seriously!

Plus, the fun shape is perfect for dipping and pretty much guaranteed to get your picky eaters snacking.

Common Questions

How long does this recipe last?

It’s best to enjoy your “fries” right away. However, they will stay fresh in an airtight container in the fridge for one to two days. Add a sprinkle of lemon juice or lime juice to prevent oxidation and keep them fresh!

How should I serve this recipe?

You can easily enjoy this recipe on its own as a nutritious snack or dessert. However, we love to use them to make loaded fruit fries with sugar-free chocolate syrup, whipped cream, and sprinkles. Or, pair them with vanilla lime yogurt dip or any other dip you like best.

Can I do this without a special cutter?

Yes! You might be able to achieve the crinkly look, but you can easily create stick shapes using a knife.

These are so fun to make! If you don’t have a crinkle cutter, you need one. Such a fun way to eat melons and pineapple!
