Labeled ingredients for bunny pretzel treats on a white plate.
  • Pretzels – For the best results, we highly recommend using square pretzel snaps. We find they’re much easier to layer. The candies tend to slide right off other shapes.
  • Candy Melts – Use white chocolate candy melts to act as a “glue” holding the M&Ms to the pretzels. We’ve also used white chocolate almond bark, and it works just as well.
  • M&Ms – We opt for pastel-colored M&Ms to keep these bunny pretzels super festive, but any color will taste great. Switch it up for different holidays!
  • Food Marker – Find edible markers online, in the baking section of your local grocery store, or at select craft stores.

How to Make No-Bake Easter Bunny Pretzels

Nine square pretzels with white candy wafers on top on a plate.
  1. Arrange the pretzel snaps on a wax paper-lined microwave-safe plate. We use nine to ten. Top each pretzel with one white candy melt.

2. Melt the candy in the microwave until it is soft and partially melted. It shouldn’t be so melted that the chocolate is dripping through the pretzel. Been there, done that. It creates a mess! Press a whole M&M on top of each candy melt. (Carefully!) Then, add two halves to make ears.

3. Set the pretzels aside on a plate or parchment paper-lined baking sheet to cool and set. Then, use the marker to draw eyes and a nose. Alternatively, you can use black food coloring gel to create black dots for the face.

4. Enjoy!

Note: You can absolutely make more than ten bites. However, you want to work in batches, because the candy melts harden within a couple of minutes!

  • 1 (10 ounce bag) Spring Colored M&Ms
  • Fine Tip Food Marker

Instructions

  • On a wax paper or parchment paper lined microwave-safe plate, lay 9-10 pretzel snaps out (see notes).
  • Top each pretzel with one white candy melt. Microwave for 30 to 50 seconds until the candy is soft and somewhat melted. (You want the candy to be soft enough to press an M&M into it, but not so melty that it’s dripping through the pretzel.)

Notes

Prep Tips – You can make lots of these bunny treats with one bag each of pretzels, candy melts, and M&Ms. However, work in batches of 10 or less, because the candy melts set up quickly. If some of the candy melts do set up before you are able to add the M&Ms simply microwave again.
