  • Shredded Coleslaw Mix – To keep things super quick and easy, we use a bag of pre-shredded cabbage or store-bought coleslaw mix. However, you can also finely shred cabbage and carrots with a box grater or food processor if preferred.
  • Mayonnaise – This forms the base of the coleslaw dressing, creating the creamy consistency and tangy flavor we look for in traditional coleslaw recipes.
  • Apple Cider Vinegar – This adds extra tang and a subtly sweet taste.
  • Sweetener – We use monk fruit sweetener to keep this recipe sugar-free, but granulated sugar or honey will also work.

Common Questions

Why is my coleslaw recipe watery?

Cabbage is naturally watery and can sometimes bleed into the coleslaw making it runny. To prevent this, feel free to salt your cabbage and let it rest for a few minutes before combining all the ingredients.

How should I store leftovers?

Cover and refrigerate leftover creamy coleslaw for up to 5 days. Just be sure to give the mixture a good stir to redistribute the ingredients.
