Clean Eating Pizza Salad
Pizza is always a winner.
Salads are too in my book.
If only there was a way to enjoy all the flavors of pizza in a healthy salad…
{Enter} Drum roll please….this fun Clean Eating Pizza Salad!
A lot of families we know enjoy the tradition of a pizza night every week. I know my husband enjoys pizza every Friday night he is on shift at the fire station. It is a long standing tradition and something they all look forward to.
I would love to tell you that in our home we eat tacos on Tuesday and pizza on Fridays, but that simply isn’t the case. Ha!
Because Ryan’s schedule rotates each week, we don’t each typical meals on a typical schedule. When Ryan is working, the kids and I tend to eat leftovers or simple foods like quesadillas or macaroni and cheese.
Really gourmet, huh? 😉
However, when Ryan is home I try to cook actual meals and homemade pizza and salad is one of them! Usually everyone makes their own, with the kids piling their dough high with cheese while Ryan and I layer ours with tons of meats and veggies.
Much like Pizza Ranch and Pizza Hut serve pizzas with salad, I like to incorporate that same concept into our pizza nights. A side salad is typically not far from our homemade pizzas.
This salad was first introduced to the world in a G&S Salad E-cookbook, but I felt like it was a bit hidden from the world.
So I made the executive decision to post this Clean Eating Pizza Salad…because who is going to tell me no? 😉
First of all, you will not believe how delicious and tangy this salad dressing is!
Like. YUM.
It stays true to the flavors of pizza sauce, but jazzed up a bit.
Clean Eating Pizza Salad for 1 #cleaneating #healthy #pizza #salad #sammisrecipes Share on XAs for the salad ingredients, these are the toppings I prefer on a pizza, but feel free to use whatever toppings you like. I think mushrooms or sausage would be a great addition too!
No matter what toppings you use, you will love this healthy and hearty salad!

Beautiful, Sammi! I gotta try this. Maybe with the addition of the turkey pepperoni (which I already use in my homemade pizza recipe), my non-salad loving son will actually look forward to salad!
